2024 Final Assessment Payment Schedules


The following 2024 Street Improvement Project payment schedules were adopted by the City Council at their meeting on March 26, 2024.

If you do not pay your assessment by November 15, 2024, the assessment amount will be certified to your Scott County property taxes. The payment schedules below show the details of the payment schedule for single family homes and for townhomes.

2024 Assessment Payment Options

Payment - Due November 15, 2024 - You will not receive an invoice.

Pay by Check

  • Make check payable to City of Prior Lake

  • Verify amount (on table above)

  • Include the property address and/or property ID number

  • (Optional) include your email address if you would like a receipt emailed to you

  • Checks may be mailed or delivered in person to:

City Hall (Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

Pay by Credit Card

  • Subject to merchant fees paid by resident

  • 2.95% transaction fee plus $1.95 minimum fee, which equates to $42.81 for Single Family Property or $32.59 for Townhome Property

  • Meet with a member of Prior Lake Finance Department at:

Certify to Your Property Taxes – If not paid by November 15, 2024

  • Any assessment amounts not paid by November 15, 2024, will be certified with interest to Scott County for inclusion on your property tax installments over a five-year period beginning in 2025.
