Event Update for 2025 Street Project Area:

Prior Lake City Council will consider adoption of the assessments at the March 25, 2025 regular City Council meeting beginning at 7:00 p.m.

Prior to this City Council meeting, City Staff and the City’s consultant engineer will hold a brief Neighborhood Meeting for residents. Staff will be available to answer questions about the proposed special assessments and will also have copies of the project plans available for viewing.

As always, your comments, concerns and testimony are encouraged. General comments regarding this item can be submitted at any time via mail to 4646 Dakota Street SE, Prior Lake, MN 55372, Attn: Luke Schwarz or via email to Luke Schwarz at lschwarz@priorlakemn.gov. Anyone interested in submitting comments is encouraged to submit all comments via mail or email before 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 so they can be provided to the City Council prior to the public hearing. 

Pending City Council adoption of the proposed special assessment, a Final Notice detailing payment options will be sent.  No payments can be made prior to City Council adoption.

City Hall Atrium, 4646 Dakota St SE, Prior Lake, MN

This will be an informal opportunity to meet with City staff and the City’s consultant engineer to discuss the project. Following the Open House, a Public Hearing is scheduled to be held at the City Council Meeting, that same evening at 7:00pm.

The 2024-2025 Street Improvement Project has been identified within the City’s 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Plan, in accordance with the City’s overall Pavement Management Plan. Streets within the Wilds Development will receive surface improvements in 2024, and Wilds Parkway will receive a full reconstruction in 2025 (see map).
